Look for Less: Jessica Alba's Balmain Dress

I saw this photo of Jessica Alba at the LA Premiere for “Machete” and immediately loved her look!!! Some people say strong shoulders are so last winter, but when it looks like this, I say wear it in spring, summer, and fall!!! She's wearing a zig-zag sequin dress by Balmain of course; strong shoulders are their thing. She paired it with Christian Louboutin Tinazata cutout boots.

So, if you love this look, here is an inspired look for less:
French Connection Princess Dress $89.99 was $268

Hey Baby I'm A Rock Star...

I'm anxiously awaiting July's edition of ELLE magazine to be delivered to my mailbox. Rhianna is the cover girl and she's as sparkly as a disco ball in the 80's and I love it. She's wearing a hot Balmain sequin mini dress from their Fall 2010 collection. She's dishing about her hot beau Matt Hemp, her CD Rated R, black women in fashion industry, Chris Brown, and much more. I for one, am tired of hearing about Chris Brown......WE OFF THAT! But I understand it was a tragic situation. Anyway, magazine is in stores June 15.

Here are some photos:

21 Gun Salute to Military Chic Fashion

Spring isn't just about floral dresses, bright colors, and sexy sandals. Military silhouettes and colors are sticking around for spring. Designers expanded the trend to the basics; t-shirts, sandals, cargo's, shorts and jackets. Hands down Balmain did it the best. Their SS 2010 Ready-to-Wear collection was sick. Check out the video below!!!! Made me want to stand and salute Christophe Decarnin.

The cool thing about this trend is that it can be budget friendly. Here are some looks for less inspired by Balmain.
