Jimmy Choo is Turning 15

Jimmy Choo is turning 15!  The year was '96, and Carrie Bradshaw uttered the words "Jimmy Choo" on an episode of "Sex and The City." She exposed millions of women to the brand, and I didn't know at the time- I was only 16, without HBO, and had zero exposure to designer shoes- but she would save me from shoe hell.

Founder and chief  creative officer Tamara Mellon is launching an updated collection of the  brand’s signature jeweled heels.

Jimmy Choo + UGG=Chuggs

According to WWD, Jimmy Choo and UGG will launch a five-piece collection in October based on UGG’s sheepskin boots “with design details that embody the spirit of the Jimmy Choo brand." They are pricey little things, $595 to $795. 

Hmmm, I would rather they collaborate and line the soles of a few Jimmy Choo stilettos with sheepskin, instead of bedazzling a pair of UGG's. But that's just my 2 cents....

Maybe these will be classy enough for the office LOL *inside joke*

Lace Up Your Kicks

Over the past year, high end sneakers have become a popular trend for women shoe designers. From Lavin to Louboutin, and now Jimmy Choo. Choo's pre-fall collection will be available at all Jimmy Choo stores and the online store this month.

While the Jimmy Choo kicks are cute, I'm loving UES denim hightop sneakers with chains. UES stands for Upper Echelon Shoes and  they make high and low top sneakers, but with an edge.
