Steal Her Style/DIY: Kim Kardashian in Burberry Prorsum Studded Coat

Studs are continuing to invade closets! Lindsay Lohan rocked a studded leather Phillip Lim leather jacket a couple of weeks ago, and today Kim Kardashian was spotted rocking a  Burberry Prorsum studded sleeve bonded twill trench coat. The coat is part of their Spring 2011 collection, and a good remix of the classic Burberry trench. The coat will set you back $4,495, but this could be an easy DIY if you have the time.

To recreate this look, all you need is a trench coat and some studs!

DIY... I Mean DIWrong- Sam Edelman Lorrisa Pumps

Over the summer I started a DIY inspired by these Sam Edelman shoes, with good intentions to complete the project. I started and actually got one heel done, but I ran out of supplies.
Sam Edelman Lorissa Pumps
My version
I put the shoes in a box, and when I got ready to complete the other heel, I discovered most of the studs and rhinestones had fallen off!!!! I didn't get the right glue and it was super hot upstairs in my room. And it gets worse-the glue bleached the heel! I'm going to try to fix them; not sure how.

But I'm looking ahead to other DIY projects. I found these online and think I may give 'em a try. I think the necklace will be much easier since craft stores sell a bunch of jewelry parts. I need to master a small project first before I jump ahead to the shoes. Lesson learned....

Mongolian Fur Coat-What to Do With You

Thanks to my mom, I have a great vintage Mongolian coat. It's waaay to much coat for me though! Not to mention it doesn't get that cold in NC. So I've got to figure out how to wear it. I'm pretty sure I'm going to remove the sleeves and make it a vest. My mom suggested adding snaps to the sleeves, just in case. Yeah, just in case I want to look like the character from Monsters Inc. But mama always knows best :) Read on for my inspiration look........
