Trend Alert: Colored Denim for Spring

I remember my first experience with colored denim.... It was 8th grade and I had a bright red pair of Cross Colours jeans that were conveniently 2 sizes too big. Thank GOODNESS my fashion evolved and thank goodness I have a chance to redeem myself this Spring. Colored denim is on the come up (again), and it's an easy way to make a bold statement. Take a style session from Rachel Bilson- pair your bright jeans with a t-shirt, jacket and some hot shoes!

Trend Alert: Long Skirts for Spring

There are some great Spring trends that I'm looking forward to rocking- bright colors, floral prints, minimal whites, and 70's inspired looks. Not to be left out is the long skirt. Designers maxed out the hemline of skirts for Spring 2011. I think a long skirt is a chic weekend warrior look, but I can't see myself wearing a long skirt to the office or out! Thoughts on the trend?
