Fashion Rumor

According to the French Tribune, Tom Ford is rumored to be the next designer to collaborate with H&M. It wouldn't be too unrealistic considering Lanvin designed a collection for H&M, and Karl Lagerfeld is designing a capsule collection for Macy's in September 2011. But in the December issue of Vogue, Tom Ford says this regarding trends:

"I want this to be somewhere a woman knows she can go when she wants a great jacket—not a fake expensive jacket, something that has intrinsic value. I don’t think fashion has to change every five minutes. I’d like these to be clothes you can wear for a long time—ten, 20 years; pass on to your daughter. Why buy vintage when you can open your own closet!”

Hmmmm......Kinda goes against the idea of a collaboration with H&M. Calling this a fashion rumor until I hear otherwise, but I'm hoping it's true.....
