Barbie Who???

My mom LOVES dolls, and channels her creative energy through porcelain doll making. At some point my love changed from dolls to fashion; hers remained. So when I saw these dolls a couple months ago, I immediately thought best of both worlds.

Mr. Andrew Yang, 25, makes his ‘Kouklitas’, meaning dolls in Greek, from scratch. The dolls, inspired by the latest runway looks, were on display during FNO at Barney's this past September. This guy is a freakin genius. The level of detail he has given to each doll to reduplicate the runway look is ridic! With dolls like these, who the hell wants to play with a barbie doll....
