Zara Spring/Summer Campain

Good morning my dear readers,
Finally Zara  launched their spring 2011 campaign, with several smaller collections: women,TRF, men, young men and kids.We were used to neutral tones from Zara, but now it’s time for some warm color splashes to sweeten the rigid cuts. The women collection has androgynous features, starting with the short-haired, little-make-up model and continuing with the masculine cuts of the blazers and the slim pants. However, you’ll also find fluid shapes, silky fabrics and occasional ruffles, as well as the very popular 70s trend. Colors like fuchsia, turquoise and bright orange are present, sometimes even in the same outfit.

For the younger line, TRF, you’ll notice that casual is the key word. Basic white tees, hoodies and sweaters, jeans and denim shorts, layered dresses are the pieces that the model for this campaign is wearing. Simplicity in color and combos best defines the TRF collection.

For men, the color palette is always less expanded than for women. That’s why Zara plays with cuts, using interesting details to menswear: shirts that are only half buttoned, jackets over a tank and so on. Browns and blacks are
combined with coral and blue for a cool effect.
