Sweet Dream/Beautiful Nightmare

Last night I had a sweet dream/beautiful nightmare......
I was boarding a private plane headed to Maldives for an extended vaca. On the plane were suitcases (I'll let you assume the designer) filled with fabulous Gucci 2010 resort wear.......

I woke up to the sound of a beeping alarm clock reminding me it's Tuesday and I have a 8:30 AM meeting. Frightening because I really thought I was in Asia.

UGGly???

I have a love hate relationship with my UGG boots. I love the comfortablity and warmth but I hate how clunky they look. They would be the most unchic shoes ever invented but someone thought of Crocs, so they took first place and several million $$$. I wear my UGGS around my apartment or when I am running errands within a 5 mile radius of my house. I would like to purchase a more sleek boot that I can wear casually and are still cozy. All The Single Ladies, All The Single Ladies

Today I've been watching dvr episodes of the "Oprah Winfrey Show" and I can't stop staring at the diamond bracelets she's wearing in almost every episode. In an effort to get a closer look, I searched the web. Instead of locating Oprah's bracelets, I came across the Ah Ring. Apparently Oprah had this ring as one of her favorite things years ago. According to the ring designer, Divine Diamonds,

My left hand says: If you are going to give me a ring of my own, why is it .21 carats?? This is what I need!

Burn Baby Burn

Candles are one of those things I can't live without. While I have come very close to burning down my apartment with a candle (thank goodness for the 50 hr burn life), they are a great way to create an ambiance and are also perfect holiday gifts. Here are some of my favs!

Capri Blue Jar Volcano Candle-Classic. This is the candle Anthropologie burns in their stores. It has an amazing tropical smell and made of soy and natural food wax which prolongs the burn life.

Glade Angel Whisper Candle-Burning on a budget. This is one the best drugstore candles I've ever purchased. It has a great floral blossom aroma but it has a quick burn life and I think it's discontinued in some large retail stores.
